Niamh Pollak is Vice President, Legal at Clio, the Burnaby-headquartered global leader in legal AI. As the company’s most senior legal officer, she owns Clio’s entire legal function and leads a global team of 14 lawyers across Canada, the U.S., Ireland, and Spain.
Her remit spans technology and intellectual property, corporate finance, employment, privacy, regulatory, litigation and commercial matters for a company of over 2,600 employees serving customers in more than 130 countries.
In November 2025, Niamh led Clio’s US$1-billion acquisition of vLex, the largest private software transaction in Canadian and Spanish history. After Clio prevailed in a competitive global auction, she ran three simultaneous closings under three different governing laws: the acquisition, a US$500-million Series G financing and a US$350-million debt facility. The deal required U.S. antitrust clearance and approval from the Spanish Council of Ministers, and Niamh coordinated more than 100 advisors across 13 countries.
Niamh also leads Clio’s approach to AI governance and data protection, and the regulatory strategy behind its expansion into the judiciary.
She serves on the Board of Advisors of The GC Collective as its British Columbia Regional Lead and is committed to developing the next generation of in-house lawyers in the province.
