Greg McIlwain is Office Managing Partner of McMillan LLP’s Calgary office and a highly regarded business lawyer specializing in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and joint ventures. He has particular strength advising international clients on investments into Canada and is frequently engaged by global law firms to support Canadian aspects of cross-border transactions. Greg has broad industry experience spanning natural resources and energy, as well as the technology, services, and manufacturing sectors.

In addition to his practice, he serves as a director of Canada Artistic Swimming, the national governing body for artistic swimming in Canada. He is also a director of the Calgary chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, part of a global network of middle-market M&A professionals.
