I serve as Senior Director: Dispute Resolution, Americas & Integrity, at AtkinsRéalis, coordinating the organization's dispute resolution portfolio across Canada, the US and LATAM alongside regional lawyers and external counsel.

Over more than thirty years in litigation and project counsel roles, in private practice (in South Africa) and in-house, I developed a deep understanding of large, complex construction projects, including Design-Build, P3, transit, bridges, power stations, airports, and roadways projects.

I advise on litigation, arbitration, mediation, and e-discovery, offering pragmatic, cost-conscious dispute avoidance advice, while leading a cross-jurisdictional team with transparency and accountability.

Above all, I strive to lead by example, setting the standard for diligence, integrity, and professionalism that I expect of those around me, and demonstrating through my own conduct the measured, principled approach I encourage across my teams. I bring a genuinely inquisitive mindset to every engagement, taking the time to ask thoughtful questions and listen carefully so that I truly understand what my business clients need from me. By seeking to understand the commercial drivers, priorities, and pressures facing each business unit, I ensure that my advice is not only legally sound but also practical, responsive, and closely aligned with the objectives of the stakeholders I serve.
