Danielle Parrotta

Managing Legal Counsel
Enbridge Inc.

Danielle Parrotta is an accomplished corporate and commercial lawyer with more than 25 years of experience leading complex mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and multibillion-dollar transactions. Having held senior legal positions at Enbridge, Encana, and Ovintiv, she brings exceptional expertise in structuring sophisticated transactions, navigating regulatory complexities, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Most recently, Danielle played a key role in two landmark transactions involving Enbridge's Westcoast natural gas pipeline system. One project involved a $736 million investment by the Stonlasec8 Indigenous Alliance, representing 38 First Nations, and pioneered the first use of Canada's Indigenous Loan Guarantee Program. The transaction, recognized as Capital Markets Deal of the Year at the 2026 Canadian Law Awards, required innovative financing structures, complex governance arrangements, and the simultaneous execution of multiple interdependent transactions.

Danielle also recently led the legal team on a C$2.7 billion strategic infrastructure joint venture involving Enbridge, KKR, and Apollo to finance major Westcoast pipeline expansions.

Her broader transactional experience includes multibillion-dollar partnerships with Mitsubishi and PetroChina, significant asset divestitures, and major corporate reorganizations. Danielle holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Alberta.
