As Senior Vice President, Sustainability, External Affairs & General Counsel, Christy leads the company’s legal function and serves as Corporate Secretary. She oversees internal and external legal teams on major transactions, regulatory matters, and litigation. Christy also leads Keyera's sustainability, environment, public policy, government relations, communications, and Indigenous relations functions.

Prior to joining Keyera, Christy was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Sustainability Officer at Parkland Corporation. Earlier in her career, she practiced in a leading litigation boutique and clerked at the Court of Appeal of Alberta. She has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Christy holds a Doctor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, both from the University of Calgary. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and holds a GCP.D designation.
